I purchased the Canon Powershot SX10IS a few weeks ago. It's a great camera and I highly recommend it. I'm a novice when it comes to photography. Despite my lack of experience in photography, I needed a new camera for a food blog that I was starting. Specifically, I needed a camera that could take decent up-close (macro) shots. As with most digital cameras in this price range, the SX10 shots are a bit noisy at ISO400 or greater. It's really easy-to-use and there are a lot of great features for the price.
