I researched for a camera for a while and ended up buying this sx10 is and have no regrets. Takes very good pictures and is fairly easy to use. I took a picture from my couch with the zoom pointing through my front door and storm door at a bird sitting on a tree branch and it looked like I was outside standing next to it.
