This is more than a point and shoot and less than a SLR. Moderate wide is most useful; super tele occasionally will find use. Close to ideal for general candid travel and family photos. Limited by sensitivity for low light and high motion shots. Controls more complex than necessary for 99% of people/shots, but nice for the other 1%.
